In late-1880s rural Burgundy, Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette is courted by literary entrepreneur Henri Gauthier-Villars, who brings her back to Paris as his wife. Becoming painfully aware that the newlyweds' expenditure exceeds their income, she is persuaded to write up her semi-autobiographical tales which, published under his name, become a sensation. Biopic, starring Keira Knightley, Fiona Shaw and Dominic West.

Adrian Chiles investigates the rise of electric bikes on Britain's streets, and whether they are a solution to congestion or a potential danger in need of tighter regulation. He discovers that some more powerful and faster e-bikes are illegal to ride on the road. As they are crammed into the same space as pedestrians and other road users, councils and the police are struggling to cope with the e-bike revolution.

S1 E1 Documentary looking at the 2005 attack on London's transport system and the ensuing police investigation and the three-week hunt to catch the bombers. On July 7, 2005, bombs detonated on trains at Aldgate, Edgware Road and Russell Square, with another blowing up a bus at Tavistock Square an hour later. Forensic officers carry out a detailed search and a CCTV coordinator steps over body parts at Tavistock Square trying to find evidence, but the police were still not certain if this was the work of suicide bombers.

Lucy uncovers a story that goes beyond a single murderer and his five victims to a burgeoning newspaper industry desperate for readers, and a Victorian society that wasn't designed to support the most vulnerable. She reveals the case shaped the way true crime is covered today and looks at how the murders created a world of entertainment.

S1 E1 Monty travels around the UK to learn what gardens can reveal about the country's people, climate and history. He begins by travelling from the rugged north-west coast of Scotland to the north-east of England to visit gardens that are flourishing in the some of the most inhospitable places in the country. Monty sees romantic castles and some of the private gardens of the King, and explores gardens that challenge the idea of what a garden even is.

S1 E9 Monkeys in the Kitchen With the drought biting hard, food is in short supply and intrepid monkeys invade the family's safari camp, while lack of water means Saba Douglas-Hamilton is struggling to give her guests the experience they expect. Frank and David set off on a dangerous mission to help the biggest bull elephant in northern Kenya.

S1 E1 Cameras follow six baby animals as they learn the basic skills needed to face the challenges of surviving their first year. In Kenya, newborn elephant calf Safina learns how to keep up with her fast moving herd, and in Sri Lanka, one-week-old Jazir has to quickly learn the ropes of a primate society. At the edge of the Arctic, five-week-old fox cubs must learn to hunt before their siblings beat them to limited food, and in Uganda, an eight-week-old mountain gorilla adapts to forest life.

The arrival of a wealthy gentleman and his friends at a nearby mansion leads to an introduction between Elizabeth and the aloof Mr Darcy, to whom she takes an instant dislike.
