S5 Short 6 The RNLI volunteers race against time to try and save three people in the water in the Bristol Channel, a father and son trapped against a cliff face and a badly injured sailor. After crossing the Arabian Sea, the ship stops at Duqm in Oman to replenish stores, before proceeding up the Red Sea, through the Suez canal and into the eastern Mediterranean. An F35 jet on a routine launch loses power at a critical moment and the pilot has to eject, and HMS Queen Elizabeth launches a search and rescue mission to locate the airman.
